Transfer to Cornell Hotel School

I'm thinking of tranferring to Cornell Hotel School and now I attend a Swiss hotel management university.

My high school GPA is 3.85.

My GPA for the first year in college is 3.6 (quite low regarding the number itself but the rank for the classes I've got B+, which lowered the GPA was among the highest.)

About EC, I've done two period of internship, totally one year,
at The Ritz-Carlton as a coordinator, to mention only a few.

and.. I am the first presidential scholarship student of the school I attend now.

If I apply for transfer to Cornell Hotel School,
how likely will I be accepted?

^^ I’m pretty sure you knew he was talking about the Cornell SHA, no need to be condescending.

Cornell SHA is one the easier branches to get into, as long as you show some interest in the food/bev/hosp industry, which you have. I’d say you have a solid chance, although your GPA is low, because they’re less focused on that in regards to the hospitality program.

Just keep in mind it’s as expensive as the rest of the branches of Cornell, and you might not exactly make that money back with a hotel administration degree.

It’s all about the money…

SHA is pretty hard on academic too, although it is not as selective as Cornell CAS.

“You might not make that money back.”

A bunch of the wealthiest Cornell grads ever went to the Hotel School. One started Burger King, a few started Duty Free Shoppers, and one of those is committed to giving away $4 billion (yes, with a b) to charity.
You have an excellent chance of making that money back. The OP is not going to be working as a bellhop with a Cornell degree.
Cornell does take transfers, and your experience will be a big plus.

agree with redshoes!

I know… Cornell School of Hotel Administration…
just simply said… cornell hotel school;;

As the school says, SAT is not required but should be submitted if taken before.
If I didn’t, is it okay not to submit SAT score then?

(i mean… for the admisstion)

It is OK for you to contact the transfer admissions office for the SHA. They will be able to answer all of your questions.

Does Cornell have a Bus Driver School?
