Transfer to Dartmouth? Better chance of winning the lotto?

Hi all

I'm @ CC right now with about 30 credits under my belt. I would love more than anything to transfer to Dartmouth College once I finish about 60 credits, but I'm thinking it's totally hopeless.

I have no ECs and also my high school was extremely small, meaning it didnt offer any advanced classes such as Calc or Physics.

Greatly appreciate any feedback even if just to tell me my despair is called for!

----GPA, high school & CC: 4.0/4.0 scale

----Class rank: valedictorian out of three graduates (the school was miniscule)

----SAT: 2180 (Math 670, C.R. 740, Writing 770)
Never took any other standardized tests

----EC's: None, except maybe playing guitar and belonging to a church choir

----APs (none, my high school didnt offer them)

----Race: Caucasian, Sex: Female

Also, fyi, I applied to UMich Ann Arbor as a freshman (didn't go, obviously) but I did get in. Still, I know Dartmouth is a million times harder...

Think of it this way, the chances of winning the lottery are: .00002605%

no you have a decent shot at dartmouth. just two questions

why was your school so small?! wat type of school?? and u might have well been homeschooled.

and why didnt you go to umich??

really? (her eyes light up with hope)

my school was a little catholic boarding school in new hampshire, my parents sent me there because it was conservative, but it was very stunted academically. also I was homeschooled for my freshman year of h.s.

as for UMich, I got barely any aid and my parents didnt want me to go so they wouldn't cosign my loan =(

got it. your stats are good enough for dmouth. maybe try improving ec's now? who knows?

thanks! I'll join some clubs.
