Im interested in their Advertising and Marketing communications major. The only thing is if i go i'd have to go to a community college first cause I can't pay for it all four years and they only give scholarships to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. On the website it says
"You should apply to the two-year Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree program. High school students may not apply directly to the Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program. Upon completing the AAS program with a GPA of at least 2.0, you may continue in the two-year BS program in Advertising and Marketing Communications (AMC)"

Then it also says:

"If you have credits or a degree from another college
You may apply to the AMC BS program as a transfer student if you meet one of the following criteria by the time you enroll at FIT:

-you will have an associates or bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college in a program that is equivalent to the FIT AMC AAS program. Certain prerequisite or equivalent courses in the major area must be completed.
-you will have earned at least 60 credits toward a bachelor's degree in an equivalent or related program at a regionally accredited college.

A college program is equivalent if it contains the same major area and liberal arts distribution as the FIT Advertising and Marketing Communications program. Applicants from college programs that are not equivalent must apply to the AAS program."

This is the link where it has all the info about the AMC major Eligibility Fashion Institute of Technology - Eligibility

So my question is , If i were to go to a community college first and get my AAS would my only option be to get a AAS degree with ALL the same classes as if i would take my freshman year at F.I.T. or is it OK as long as I get an AAS degree. I'm really confused about what it's saying so if you could tell me my options and what exactly it's saying, lol. Also what would i get my AAS in? How is it possible that some people have transferred there from Universities when they don't have AAS!?? Please Help me , any info would be great
Thanks!
