I am writing to have a better understanding of my chances of being accepted to NU as a transfer student. I am currently a freshman at the University of Dayton with a 3.9 GPA at the midterm. I am interested in transferring to be closer to home and to achieve a better academic environment and opportunity. Going in to my senior year of high school, I was diagnosed with learning disabilities. Since then, I have received treatment and have seen dramatic improvements. I went from an accumulative 83 GPA out of 100 my junior year to a 96 GPA my senior year's first semester and a 93 my second. I also scored a 29 on the ACT and have a decent list of EC (not that it necessarily means ALL that much). My major is Econ; I am a white male; and my dad is a postgraduate alumnus. Basically, given that brief background, I would like to know if anyone has an idea of my chances of being accepted in to NU's Econ program. Any advice will help me determine whether or not it is worth the time and money of going through the transfer process. Also, if anyone notices that I did not mention any other influential factors, please feel free to tell me. Thank you.

Also, I went to a competitive, college prep high school.
