Transfer to Rhodes College?

I am currently a student at The University Of Memphis. I transferred from Austin Peay State University (horrible fit), and I rather like Memphis. But unfortunately, I am a bit restless.

Rhodes College is a very good school. And, considering that my goal is to attend Duke University's Fuqua School Of Business, it may look better when applying to that particular graduate program.

But there is one problem: I am studying Finance (with a concentration in Real Estate), something not offered at Rhodes College. Rhodes offers majors in Business, Economics, and Business/Economics.

What would you suggest? With Fuqua School Of Business in mind, would it be better to stay at The University Of Memphis and study my preferred major, or to transfer to Rhodes (a better school) and study something similar?

Come to Rhodes, major in business, focus your major electives on finance courses.

By the way, random factoid: When Rhodes moved to Memphis in 1925 from Clarksville, TN, the campus that it left behind eventually became Austin Peay State University.

lynxinsider is right. You’re better off getting a firm foundation before going to Fuqua than developing a concentration. You’ll also be more likely to get into Fuqua, for that matter.
