Does anyone have experience with this? We have a friend who missed the grade requirement in order to transfer automatically. Should he forget TAMU and look elsewhere? His GPA is a 2.9.
Is your friend still at Blinn or is he home now or at another college?
I know that you can appeal if there are special circumstances. For instance, medical issues, etc. I think those appeals are best done right away.
He’s still at Blinn this semester but, he was dropped from the TAMU privileges and program at the end of last semester.
There were no extenuating circumstances. He just didn’t make the required GPA.
Now, he’s applying to transfer anyway but, without the guaranteed path. He’s only filled out the one application to TAMU. I’m wondering if that’s unrealistic.
