<p>I am currently a freshman at Oberlin College and want to transfer to the University of Chicago.Here are my stats:</p>

<p>High School GPA: 3.7 at top 3 boarding school
College GPA: 3.8/3.9
SAT I: 1510
SAT II: Writing 730, Lit 790, Math 2c 700</p>

<p>ECs: 5 years working for Habitat for Humanity, Founder of Philosophy Club, Newspaper Editor, Intern for the ACLU</p>

<p>Also, do students have much free time? From what i've heard, the academics are extremely time-consuming.</p>

<p>There is no political diversity on campus. Although I am on the left, I feel that there needs to be balanced debate in a free marketplace of ideas in order to reach truth. Oberlin doesn't have that and I believe UChicago does. I want to take classes on both Marx and Milton Friedman.</p>
