Transfer to UBC's Sauder School Elective Credits?

<p>I'm an undergrad freshman, planning to transfer to UBC's Sauder School of Business. I noticed that Sauder's elective credit requirements for business schools is 18 for transfer students

<p>The Business school in my current university requires freshman to take 18 credits of business courses (30 credits in a year) so I wouldn't be able to have enough elective credits for Sauder.</p>

<p>Has anyone run into this problem before?
I plan on asking my adviser as well, but all the same any feedback would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Are some of the 18 are business-related or preparation classes like speech, computers, economics, calculus, statistics?
I would contact UBC and your school's advisers to create a transfer plan.</p>
