<p>Hi I applied to Umass Amherst for the Spring 14 semester as a transfer student. I took a total of 34 credits my freshmen year finishing with a 3.3 avg gpa at my current state school. My highschool gpa is not that great 2.8 wiht 1680 SAT but I heard that after 30 credits, the college does not really look at your HS grades. </p>

<p>I’m transferring to Umass Amherst for the fall of 2014. I currently attend SUNY Albany as a freshman and have a 3.67 GPA for my first semester. I will have finished 30 credits by the end of the year. I’m the founder and president of a club here, and I’m involved in other clubs as well. Can you please let me know what you think my chances are?</p>
