I am currently in a california community college hoping to transfer out this fall, majoring in math. Due to personal health reasons and ADHD focusing issues, my gpa is relatively low. I read that University of Arizona’s min gpa requirement is 2.5 and their acceptance rate is pretty high overall. Is the math department particularly selective regarding their transfer students?
I don’t know, but I do know that UA’s math department is infamous. My son took Discrete Math at Pima, the community college nearby because that’s what a lot of students do because of the irrational UA Math Dept.
