Transfer to University of Michigan Fall 2015

Hey all. I'm planning on transferring to UMich for Fall 2015.
My stats:
Community college transfer
College GPA: 3.77
55 credits
ECs:
Volunteering at a homeless shelter
Volunteering at Planned Parenthood
Soccer Club
Phi Theta Kappa

What are my chances of getting in?
Also, I'm a biology major.

Thanks, and tell me about your stats! :) (GO BLUE)

I would say you have a good chance. Are you in state?

I think you have a fair chance. I’m applying with a 4.0 gpa, 41 credits, PTK, job for 2 years w/ promotion, my own blog, and volunteering from HS.

You have a good chance since you have bunch of credits. I am applying too but as a sophomore with 29 credits, 4.0 GPA, 27 ACT, bunch of Ec’s, did journalism 4+ years, Jazz Band 2 years, volunteered at a school for 2 years.

I am a Freshman at Michigan State University. My first choice for college was the University of Michigan but I was deferred then rejected. My ACT was a 26 and my high school gpa was a 3.7 (unweighted) and a 3.92 (weighted).

I plan to apply for transfer to UMich LSA. My goal is to have my gpa between a 3.75-4.0. I have IB credits that would transfer to 11 credits at Michigan. Currently I am taking 13 credits this semester at MSU (UM equivalence of 12 credits) and take 16 transferable credits in the spring semester. This would equal a total of 23 credits and 16 pending credits for when I apply.

I would like to apply to the 2015 summer half so I can be easily adjusted to campus and by fall 2015 I would technically have close to junior status. I heard you have a better chance in admissions to transfer with the more credits you have.

I also plan to retake the ACT again in December. I know this isn’t required but sending in your high school ACT is required when applying for transfer. I want to show UMich that I am dedicated to this university and will work very hard there.

I am already very involved with a lot of academic organizations on campus (e.g. Women is Business, Student Marketing Organization, and General Management Association).

Does this sound like a good plan? Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I have also applied to University of Michigan Engineering College on Dec 26th. Here’s my stats:
Major: Computer Science
College: Community college
GPA: 3.72
Credits: 71 and 6 credits(for spring 2015), so total 77 credits
PTK member
Excellent essays and recommendation letter
Hopefully, I will get admission. Good luck guys…
