Transfer to Wes S14/F14

<p>This thread is for those who hope to transfer to Wes in the spring of 2014 or in the fall of 2014. Ask questions, adore the school , collectively dream of lounging on Foss Hill one day, post stats, discuss school happenings (push for trans* bathrooms, custodian lack of rights, need-blind no more, to name a few), and talk about the application process.</p>

<p>I've been dreaming of attending Wesleyan since sophomore year of high school when I read the Gatekeepers and an interview of two alumni from a band. This place just seems too magical to be true. Time to write some essays. Need to keep that GPA up to even consider applying.</p>

<p>Thinking about it, but I need FA. If FA is as big of a deal-breaker as it is with Brown’s transfer admissions, then I might as well cross it off the list.</p>

I will just put my two cents in very quickly and say that Wesleyan is not need blind, nor has it been for some time. This is not to say that transfer students with significant need do not get in, nor is it to say that they do not get the aid they need because BELIEVE ME, they do. It simply makes admission into the University more difficult. Good luck!</p>
