Transfer waitlist fall 2013

Who else is on the transfer waitlist!? What is your major and stats?? I know we possibly won’t hear until July 15th, I am just curious! Good luck everybody

Has anyone heard anything back yet? Any rejections? Acceptances?

Nope still on the wait list yet I haven’t been rejected. I just sent an email to admissions and will be calling tomorrow to see if I can obtain any info. At this point I don’t really think I will get accepted, I already did everything for Cal Poly Pomona but if I were to receive acceptance to Cal Poly SLO, it would become my school in a heartbeat.

This is what they told me,

"If you have not heard anything from Cal Poly regarding your waitlist status, it does not mean that you won’t be selected from the waitlist to attend Cal Poly.

Just about every applicant that is currently on the waitlist will hear a decision on July 15 and not sooner."

I was on the transfer waitlist last year and didn’t find out until about 2 weeks later when I finally got a letter that stated I had not been accepted. So I applied again and was accepted this year so even if you aren’t accepted this year and really want to come here then apply again and you might be accepted. And sorry to say but from what I heard most people on the waitlist are not accepted. I read that less than 10% are ultimately accepted.

^ I also was on the transfer waitlist last year and did not get in. I was able to get in this year after reapplying.

Waitlisted as a transfer from Cuesta.

Major: Civil Engineering
GPA: 4.0

Had every class they wanted done. Hope I get in on July 15th.

Has anyones waitlist status changed since July 15th has come and gone? Mine is still the same…

Nope…mine still says “You have been placed on the waitlist at Cal Poly for fall. You will be emailed a survey confirming if you would like to remain on the waitlist or no longer be considered for admission to Cal Poly. Once you receive email, respond promptly to the survey.”

Do you guys have the same message?
