Transfer Waitlist?

Hey everyone,

I applied to MHC as a transfer student for the Fall 2011 semester and I just found out I waitlisted. The whole waitlist process is nothing new to me, as I applied to Bryn Mawr and Smith as a senior in high school and was waitlisted at those two schools, so I kind of know the drill. Does anyone have any idea how many transfers (roughly) get admitted off the waitlist? Or if you don't know, is there anywhere I can look to find this info out myself? Should I call the admissions office and explain my situation (my college official report was really, really late - not my fault, long, involved story and I'm afraid this could have put me at a serious disadvantage)? Is there a "transfer waitlist" or is it just the regular waitlist that all applicants are put on? Any success stories/advice?

I'm freaking out here, I can't believe I got waitlisted at ANOTHER seven sister my second time around :(

Aw. I’m sorry and I can definitely relate.
I applied to Mount Holyoke (my dream!) and Smith my senior year of highschool and was waitlisted at both. Ultimately, I wasn’t accepted off the waitlist.
I applied as a transfer student for Fall 2011 (my sophomore year) to Mount Holyoke and got rejected. Still trying to get over it. :[
Goodluck!
