Transfer with 3.03 gpa?

<p>What would you say to someone looking to transfer to USC as a sophomore with a 3.03 gpa? High school stats were 32 ACT, 3.8 GPA UW, 4.49 GPA W, and 5/39 class rank - will these things still be considered as a transfer? I know I screwed up my first semester, but I feel that I have the motivation to perform well this upcoming semester. Should I still try and apply to USC?</p>
