I was wondering if you can Successfully transfer from a Community College, to another school or private institution, even though your current Community School does NOT have an Articulation Agreement, or any other agreement for that matter. If so, What are the chances of one actually getting into one of those schools from a Community college?. Will one still have Junior Standing? etc etc etc.. you get my point here..lol

The only thing that most transfer agreements get you is a guarantee that you will enter with Junior standing and and acknowledgment that you have completed all your general education graduation requirements. If you transfer in the absence of such an agreement, then it means that the college you transfer to will examine each of your courses and decide which they will accept toward their grad requirements. You can successfully transfer, but if you have any non-standard courses, they might not give you credit for them. Other than that, you should be fine.

One thing you can do is send your transcript to an evaluator at the school you intend to enter, and see if they will accept all your coursework.

Sure. I’ve been accepted at a 4 year from a CC with no agreement. The only credits of mine that didn’t transfer were some vocational classes I took. Best thing to do is to take your transcript to an admissions counselor (they usually have a specific one for transfers) and ask.

Start the process early, though, so you know what classes you should take during your remaining time at your CC, so you can spend your time there on your major requirements, not fulfilling writing/math/science prereqs.
