Transfer with Unofficial Transcript

I am current college student with a college GPA which is is 2.1. I was placed Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) at the beginning of the school year, because of personally issue I have been going through. Something no one will never understand. I am looking to transfer to another college, but I will not be able to send my official transcript because I will not be able to afford my obligation from the university to send a official transcript. My question is with background history like mines can I get into another college without an official transcript. I graduated high school with a 3.4 GPA and I know I am capable to this at my next college. It is killing me knowing I possibly won't be able to go back to school. I've spent many days researching my question and I have found nothing. Please help.

If you're just going to reply about "find a job" or "pay your obligations" please don't reply. Thanks in advance.

All college applications ask you if you have attended college elsewhere, and if so, to provide a transcript from any other college you have attended. You are asking us whether you should not have to do this?

The answer is NO. You will need to provide an official transcript. And yes, that means you might have to get a job, and pay your debt to the first college.

Schools will look up your previous college attendance here:

I know will a college accept me with an Unofficial transcript?

Not likely. Colleges want official transcripts. The first question they will ask is WHY can’t you get an official transcript!

In addition to having acceptance issues, you will also have financial aid issues if you plan to apply for aid.

Thanks. I just can’t believe I ruined the greatest opportunity in my life.

Is there some reason why you can’t pay your debt to school number 1? You aren’t the first student who has not done well in college and needed to regroup. You can do it…but it will take some commitment from you. Will your parents help you at all with the payments? Talk to the college. Work out a plan to repay as quickly as you can.

Yes, you will need to get a job. But get it done. The sooner the better, then you can move forward, and achieve your goal of getting your degree.

Do you owe a huge amount?? Why do you owe the school money? Were you unable to pay for this term?

I’ve been trying since August to do this. I’ve gotten no where. This school year was suppose to be my year than I got hit the bad news from SAP, but thank you I’ll continue to do what I can to get back in college.

To anyone out there going through this situation…Do not give up. A school out there will give you a chance. Have faith I’m going to be back in school Fall semester! Second chances exist and this time I will not mess up.

Hey, I check back regularly to see if anyone has any questions.
