Transfer?

I want to transfer to UCD for major in biochemistry and my current GPA is 3.4. I want to know if I have to finish all of my prerequisites on assist.org prior transferring to UCD in the fall of 2016?

ALSO, I know that you must complete 60 transferable units to transfer, but what is the limit?
Do AA (non UC/CSU) units count in that transferable unit also? Because on the Davis website, it said

“Our Colleges of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences and Letters and Science have a limit on the number of transferable units that will be accepted. If you have completed 80 semester (120 quarter) units or more of combined UC-transferable community college units and four-year college units, your admission is subject to approval by the dean of your UC Davis major.”

I want to know what they mean by “combined UC-transferable community college units and four-year college units” is all ALL of the classes taken at a CC or just UC/CSU transferable units? I’m sorry the question is all over the place, but it’s the best I can put it. Thanks for your help.

There really isn’t a limit if all your current units come from a community college. They’ll just adjust it. I had 105 transferable units when I first came to Davis. Of course, having that many transferable units did force me to file a petition to exceed the 225 unit limit allowed for UCD students so I could finish my degree.

“combined UC-transferable community college units and four year college units” means if you have both community college units and four year college units. This is common with students who went to a different four year college before deciding that particular college wasn’t for them and wanting to go back to community college to finish their GE before applying to a different 4 year college.
