I will be attending American University next august as an incoming freshman in the Kogod School of business and take the ‘business/ language/culture Program’. I can communicate in 3 languages(Russian, English, Spanish). I have personal experiences & have visited/lived in South America and Russia, and i plan on having a career in the field of international business.

I would like any possible advice on possible Georgetown, or AU for that matter, faculty/ alumni in the D.C. district that may be of assistance. I will be applying to the McDonough school of business. I have done my research regarding transfers, i know the daunting task facing me- G.P.A, ec, community participation- but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I’n on the same boat. However, I will be a SPA major.

Have you visited Gtown or American yet? I applied to both and got in at American but waitlisted at Gtown. I went to visit both campuses recently and surprisingly liked American way more. Of course, it all depends on what kind of atmosphere you like and what you’re like as a student, but I personally would be much happier at American. So if you haven’t visited, I’d definitely advise it before you make the decision to transfer.
