transfer

I’ll be an entering junior spring 2019, I have to apply this summer to 4 year colleges. Here is some quick info:

GPA 3.2(currently, hoping to increase it)
Credits: I will have a total of 42 credits by the end of spring 2018 semester.

I live in NY so I’ll have in state tuition. I’ve always wanted to go away for college, and leave NY. However, if I don’t get accepted to any out of state schools being in NY is my last option. What are my chances of getting in?

-Lehman
-Suny Oswego
-suny plattsburgh
-syracuse
-utica
-pace
-suny buffalo
-suny cortland
-suny binghamton

What do you want to study?

Transfer stats are different than entering freshmen stats. Go to suny.edu and check out the admission ranges.

@techmom99 i want to major in education

Bing doesn’t offer an undergraduate education degree and I don’t think Buffalo does, either.

My D went to Plattsburgh and got her masters in special ed as part of the 5 year program, but I don’t think it takes transfers. However, it also has a regular 4 year education program as well. It is well regarded for both teaching and nursing.

I would not spend the money for Pace,Syracuse or Utica.

We looked into Cortland’s education program and thought Plattsburgh’s was better. I am not sure if Oswego offers education.

Lehman is actually my alma mater and is also known for its teaching and nursing programs. However, it doesn’t really have dorms.

Have you considered Queens College, which does have dorms?
