Transfer

Can anyone tell me if UCF accepts credits from a community college in another state?

See the problem is, I will be attending a public university in Texas for the next two years (on a full ride) and I will probably take one or two summer classes at a community college here (which i will have to pay for), but I don't know that after two years when I transfer (personal reasons), if those credits will count? because then I don't want to waste my money now taking those when i will have to retake them...

Thanks.

Hi, I don't think anyone here can say for sure what transfer classes they might accept. I think it is very dependent on what the course is, what school and location you are coming from, what is the acredation situation, and what mark you obtained.

I suspect that they will be tough on OOS students, less tougher on In State coming from two year schools within the Florida system.

I would suggest calling the transfer department directly.

Here are a couple of links that may help:

thanks for your help ray!
