Transfer

I currently have a 3.3 GPA from CUNY- Queens College

3.3 because I have a C's in Bio, Chem, and Calc (tried to go pre-med because of the $ when math and sciences are my weaknesses) ... but I plan to transfer somewhere to major in something completely unrelated... such as:

NYU-Philosophy, History
Middlebury-English, Latin?
Cornell-Philosophy, History
SUNY-Binghamton- Philosophy, History

I'd most like to major in philosophy en route to becoming a philosophy professor, but fear I lack the skills to do so. I've been guaranteed a job teaching private high school history, so the double major is sort of a 'safety net' so to speak.

What are my chances? Will the C's matter since they are in the sciences, which I want no further involvement in? I know that NYU has an exceptional Philosophy department, but will paying nearly $50,000 actually get me into a better graduate program in Philosophy/History/Theology when the time comes?

Thanks!
