Just a couple of questions. I am filling in my application and it ask for additional information. Since there is no essay how long should this be. I think it should be at least 1 page tell me if im wrong because i want them to see the real me. Also on top of that, Clemson said that i would have to apply as pre business student to fullfill the requirements if accepted. Is that true? Plz help

can someone help me

I don’t know about the additional information, but I doubt you would be punished in any way for submitting more information. If you want to be a CBBS major, you do initially have to enroll in pre-business. After completing the prerequisites, you can officially declare your CBBS major.

how many credits do you have to take at clemson to be accepted into the business school because then see i have a huge loan at my previous school and that is why im leaving it. It’d just be the same price if i went to clemson and did another four years there and stay here at bryant you know what i mean. I mean i love clemson but if its that way i dont want to build my loan up any more. Is it possible to take those classes in the summer and make them transferrable so then i can immediately get accepted to clemson

You’ll have to talk to the school directly to see what will transfer. You can take upper level classes while still being pre-business, so transfer credits (and not the title) would be the only obstacle in graduating on time.

I think you should fill out the additional info section with anything that you think wasn’t addressed in the application (like accomplishments, family problems, stuff interfering with academics) or write something about why you want to be at Clemson/think it’s a good fit for you. An essay is not required for Clemson but if you think it can help I think you should write it since it shows you are serious about your application. I think you can apply as a regular CBBS student but then again that depends on how much of the pre-business curriculum you have completed so far. Like Mitch said, you should talk to someone in the admissions office or business school to see what is transfer.

i emailed them and i’m going to call them on monday. See the reason why im asking is because it will be the same cost if i have to do 4 years over again at clemson and i do 3 more years at bryant. It’d be better if i stayed at bryant then.

cuz the fees would be the same
