<p>what gpa would i need after a semester year for buisness/economics and is it too late, idc bout housing</p>
<p>for the business school, im pretty sure u can't get in til junior year b/c ur a transfer, im not sure..but economics i think u can get into the school more easily cuz it's not a limited enrollment program. i also heard that housing can be difficult to get for a transfer into the spring semester but then again i also heard of someone who got housing..so im not sure..but goodluck!</p>

<p>just a clarification about transferring to maryland if you are looking to have a major w/i the school of business...once you have above 56 credits you can't be in the school of business. i've seen a lot of my friends try to switch into the school of business and get turned down because they had too many credits after they transferred in and completed the core curriculum requirements at maryland. if you're looking to major in econ though you should be fine because econ is through the college of behavioral and social sciences and there is no credit cut off. </p>
<p>so if you are seriously considering transferring then i would do it sooner than later. and i would also contact the school of business because i know there are a couple of prereqs that you have to take before being able to declare a major w/i the business school.</p>
