<p>I am looking to transfer to UNC as an incoming junior. Thus far at community college, I have 3.97 GPA along with 30 credits. I plan on completing my associates degree or coming close to 60 total credits. I have been following the U of M LSA (Liberal, Science & Arts) Transfer guide. I have a few questions regarding the difficulty of transferring from a community college and the overall process itself. Is it true that they don't make much of a distinction between IS and OOS applicants? What do they emphasize most in the admissions process? I am relying on my college GPA, essays, unique life story, and recommendations, considering I attended several high schools and did poorly to say the least. I do not plan on sending test scores. Is there anything else I should know or any resources you can provide about the transfer process? Do I have a reasonable shot? Thanks for your help.</p>
