I am a Mathematics Major from University of Washington. A rising junior with 3.3 GPA. I wasn’t able to join the Computer Science or Informatics program here, and I am hoping that I could transfer somewhere else to study CSE. Which college would be a realistic choice for me to apply at this point?
Is staying at UW the best option I’ve got?
If you’re instate for Washington, try WWU or Washington State.
Depending on your budget, look into Simon Fraser, UBC, NMexico Tech, UOregon, Seattle U, U Puget Sound, Whitman, CSU Bakersfield, Cal Poly Pomona?
Read the section of the Western CS website for transfers with a high number of credits carefully

It’s not easy to get CS at Western as a transfer, primarily because they needed to put some restrictions on too many transfers coming from the oversubscribed program at UW.
For a full list of schools in Washington that offer CS, download the Washington Council guide at http://www.washingtoncouncil.org/Fall%20Counselor%20workshops/2016%20Fall%20Workshop%20HE%20Book_Online.pdf
In the greater Seattle area, in add UW Bothell and Bellevue College to the list in post #1.
^But Bellevue is a CC, right? So how would it work for someone with lots of credits?
The Bellevue College CS program is undergoing change right now – it used to be an applied bachelors (BAT) program, with required internships replacing some of the advanced coursework found at a program like UW. Good job placement results, but not as rigorous.
It’s now a full BS program with more advanced courses and a more engineering focus, but I’m not sure word has gotten around yet. They are planning to become ABET accredited.
