<p>I'm a freshman at UCSD and I"m planning to transfer to Cal EECS. My GPA is currently a 3.6 and I can get it up to 3.77, including my Fall quarter grades of next year. I'll complete all prereqs by the end of spring before transferring, except for compsci 61B and 61C. However I'll be finishing all my EE lower division courses at ucsd by the time I transfer. The classes are different, but some of the materials is the same as 61b and 61C. I'll also be doing an internship in China this summer and another one during the year (all engineering related) of my 2nd year. I know my gpa is "below average" (3.8) and it's EECS and I'm a UC-UC transfer but would I still have a chance though? I really hope all the lower div EE classes i take at ucsd and a 3.77 from ucsd mean something to berkeley, but I've been very pessimistic when I see people getting rejected to EECS this year with a 3.8 or even more. :(</p>
