Transfering to mid-tier UC's

When it comes to schools like UC Davis, UCSB, UCSC, UCI etc... how strict are they when it comes to missing pre major courses? Assuming a gpa of 3.1-3.2 what schools could i get into when missing calculus?? (Econ Major)

someone already asked this earlier, and the answer is calculus is CRITICAL, more so for math oriented majors. Also econ along with business are probably an impact major wherever you go and that does not help your chances. id suggest take a calc class now

I understand the importance of taking calculus, but I will not be able to finish it be end of spring. Can anyone tell me which ones I have the best shot at? I am thinking ucsc and ucsb are my best bets... oh and can anyone tell me if schools such as ucsb, ucsc, ucd, allow you to transfer and then switch majors?

ucsc and ucsb are probably your best shots, and no they wont let you change majors after transfering it at junior level

3.1-3.2 should get u into UCI, UCSC, UCSB and maybe UCD
