I have a question about Uconn's 2.7GPA requirement to transfer. I'm currently a accounting major at WCSU. I was supposed to graduate in 2014 but because i was undecided till fall 2013, I will have to spend another 2 years to graduate with a accounting degree. However since making the change, I've enjoyed my Acc classes and have a 3.0GPA acc GPA. Now I don't like this schools accounting program and want to transfer to UCONN. However my overall cumulative GPA is not where i want it to be at this time. Its currently a 2.4GPA but only because when i undecided i was taking general ed classes for 2 years and failed two of them and haven't repeated them yet to raise the GPA back up. So my question is could i still apply to uconn even if it doesn't meet the 2.7GPA requirement? I mean I'm finally doing something I like and doing well in it but paid the price for not deciding earlier. I want to transfer next semester but if that's not a possibility then fall 2015 i can try and apply. By the end of this semester I'm pretty sure my GPA is going to be above a 2.4.

What do you think?
