<p>It will work just like any transfer: the school to which you’re transferring will evaluate your record and decide how many of your credits will transfer. Most will, but not all. </p>
<p>Lots of students transfer, so if you have a good reason to do it, go ahead. But I’d suggest you transfer after your sophomore year but before the start of your junior year to minimize the loss of untransferable credits that you’ll just have to make up at your new school.</p>
