Transferring Admission?

Probably a useless question...but I'm sure someone can answer it quickly.

I applied to UCLA, and just got rejected. I'm not shocked by the decision, thought I felt I had a moderate chance of getting in.

I have a few friends who DID get accepted, and are definately not planning on going. Is transferring their acceptance to me unheard of and this would just be wishful thinking, or has this type of thing been done before?

Thanks a lot.

um, im sorry, but i think thats pretty much unheard of.. UCLA is such a lottery now, dont get down. If you really want to go there, go to a community college, complete IGETCs, try to pull off a great GPA, and apply again. You do that and hopefully you'll get into Cal, UCLA or UCSD. Good luck!

Yeah, thats a definite no.

Wouldn't that be great if you could do that though?
