Transferring amongst UC's

I was wondering how hard it is to transfer amongst UC’s. My goal was UCLA but didnt get in. I probably going to end up going to UCI, but i dont want to get my BA from there. Anybody have any input?

If you wanna transfer..

CC->UC
is waaaaay easier than UC->UC

Yeah, what merumerume said. See, if you're attending a UC straight out of high school, you already have a spot in the UC system. CCC students get priority because the need to, not want to, transfer after two years if the wish to continue their education.

You'd have to do extremeley well in your classes -- it's definitely feasible though.

My friend at the end of her second year applied for a transfer to UCLA and Berkeley for the sake of applying (she didn't actually want to transfer, just wanted to see if she could get in now). She had issues about being rejected from them when she was first applying to college. She was accepted to both with a full scholarship, however she rejected both of them.

I am doing exactly that this year as a second year. I was rejected to Cal, ended up going to UCSD.

It's nowhere near impossible. I know people with GPAs < or ~3.5 who've gotten in UCLA from sd.
