Transferring after one semester of C.C.

<p>Hi guys i have a question, in high-school i was extremelyyyyy lazy I was always very smart but to be honest never gave a damn, i had a 2.8 GPA and a 29 on my ACT. Well this summer i went to community college i realized that i was missing out on the college experience and was beyond motivated to get to a real college. I took 12 credits, Pre calc english comp1 psychology and astronomy and got all A's can i transfer to UCF now, will this semester make up for my bad high school grades</p>

Admissions Criteria
UCF computes a GPA for each institution attended, as well as a cumulative GPA based on all attempted college course work. This computation recognizes a plus/minus grading system, but only recognizes grade forgiveness when it is used as part of an A.A. degree from a Florida public community college/state or Florida public university.</p>

<p>If you have fewer than 60 college credit hours you must meet the first-year student admission criteria, and have a competitive college GPA. You must also submit:</p>

<p>-High school transcripts</p>

<p>-Scores for the SAT (code:5233) or ACT (code:0735)</p>

<p>-Official transcripts from all colleges attended

</p>

<p>So, since they ask for your HS transcript still, perhaps your change in outlook/grades will get you in? To get in for the Spring session, applications are due November 1.</p>
