Transferring after withdrawal/dismissal from ivy league as a non-degree/non-matriculated student

Take time off from college. Get a job. Figure out what you think you want to do for a college degree. THEN…take some courses at a CC…get A grades. Make sure you talk to the transfer advisor at the CC and find out which schools have articulation agreements with the CC.

You need some distance between your poor performance at this Ivy, and your next four year school.

And you also need to demonstrate that you can get great grades in college courses…not D and F grades.

Once you have some time distance and great CC grades, and a better sense of what you might want or like as a major…then apply to four year schools to complete your degree.

Frankly…it sounds like right now is just not a good time to continue on what has turned into a bad downward spiral for you.
