Transferring as a junior... chances?

Currently a sophomore, I just applied… I was wondering if anyone familiar with their transfer admissions could give me some ideas.
I go to a large state university, nothing special, but I’m in the honors college. 34 ACT, 4.0 gpa in high school, with different awards.
3.73 GPA in college, several pretty good community and extra-curricular activities. Work experience at a university. I think I wrote good essays. I won’t be applying for financial aid. And I’m a legacy.

I’m just worried about: my gpa, my current school (not a “peer institution”), and my letters of recommendation (they don’t seem like they would put me in like “top 5%” in everything. Maybe this is normal). Also, how many sophomores even apply?

First, you may want to move this to the main Brown forum - this one is for the class of 2017.

I don’t think there’s any data on transfer admissions, unfortunately.
