Hey! So I'm just curious of what you think. I have a weird story, I go to a small privet school in Montana which I found randomly. I completed my first year, changed majors and transferred to rutgers university. I was a 4.0 student there however I had a car accident prior to my transfer and was a mental wreck so I went back to my "safe zone" in Montana.(Less people and traffic). I was also offered an enticing scholarship to return. I have regretted coming back since the moment my plane left a year and a half ago. I am a nj res and have sick family there so I am really considering going back to rutgers. Other then the fact that I have flip flopped I am a focused student and I am applying to vet school next fall. Am I completely crazy if I transfer back? I am currently doing research though I have not started my own project here which is a plus. But I have a burning desire to take many of the animal science classes that rutgers offers. Not to mention I was practically disowned from my family when I came back to MT. I am a much stronger person then when I originally transferred and it would make my sick family member extremely happy if I returned to the east cost. I have looked into the logistics and rutgers accepts up to 90 credits so I would be good on that and my core sciences transferred, I am just waiting on my organic chemistry evaluation. The cost is a little tricky in short it's more at rutgers but the amount I have saved here with the extended time at RU would balence, so it would cost the same as if I had stayed at rutgers. How crazy am I? And do you guys think it's not a totally terrible idea?

Unless you can’t physically or emotionally bear the thought of doing another year at Rutgers I don’t see how a pre-vet student leaving for their senior year is a good idea.

Well I would actually be returning to rutgers I am currently in MT. I don’t really mind spending extra time at RU. It may be helpful as I can take some classes such as animal nutrition that are prerequisites for some vet schools.
