<p>depends on your HS statistics but in general schools with high freshman retention will be accepting less sophomore transfers than juniors. i am exactly in the middle with 3 semesters (started spring 2005) and i love it. perfect time to transfer. this way you are not a sophomore transfer and also have room to take some classes if they want you to... some gen ed requirements or something that were different in your school.
I'd say try both. I wish I could.</p>
<p>If you're applying to special programs such as Wharton or SFS Georgetown, sophomore transfer is probably better though.</p>
