Basically I have a dilemma, I was accepted as a transfer student for Winter 2013 as a second semester sophomore, but currently I'm torn as to whether or not I should just wait until the Fall to make the transfer move. Currently I go to MSU and next semester I still need to take organic chemistry II and biology II. They've shown to be quite the course load this semester so far (but still doable) but I'm not sure how much more difficult they will be at U of M. Also, it seems like quite an odd transition to make as one would imagine, and I'm really not sure how many dorms are vacant for next semester on campus.

Could someone offer some advice, preferably someone who goes to Michigan or has transferred there? I'd much appreciate it.

Personally I would not delay unless U of M guarantees you acceptance in a future semester. There may be more competition and they may want you to reapply. If you want to go to U of M I would bite the bullet and start in December if you can swing it. Not sure about dorm space. All questions you should ask the University directly.

^that’s the one thing I’m worried about. I could delay my enrollment to Fall 2013 but there’s the question of whether or not I’ll be accepted; although I’m in decent shape academically there’s no guessing what could happen. But the main reason I’m putting it off is because I’m taking two sciences and figure it’d be much harder at Michigan than it is here at MSU, but I’m going to have to take difficult courses there anyway.

Hey everyone!

I am a junior and am planning to study abroad next semester. I am looking for someone to sublet my apartment in Landmark which is located on the central campus, less than 5 minutes from the diag. Please let me know if you are interested! The sublet would begin in January.

Thanks,
