Transferring chances of acceptance

I am originally from NYC and made a bold move to go to college in the midwest at Indiana University Bloomington. I was a direct admit into their Kelley School of Business, but after my first semester i want to come back to the east.

I am going to put in transfer applications to NYU and Binghamton and wanted to know my chances of getting into their business schools.

My first semester gpa was 3.83 and my HS gpa was 3.7 with an SAT score of 1920 (MAth 740, Writing 610, Reading 570).

Any input on my chances of getting into these schools would be appreciated thanks

I really think you have a fair shot at it !! =) I think you are right in the ballpark for first year freshman for NYU ( i’m not familiar with binghamton) so if you are right there for incoming freshman u probably stand a fairly good chance of getting in as a transfer, i believe it is easier to get in as a transfer ( of course NOTHING is easy about getting into nyu, but i think ur chances are slightly higher) you are also coming from an amazing business school and if you kind of explain that you just feel more comfortable being on the east coast and near home and that is your reason for switching, i dont see why you wouldnt get in.
BTW, there is any other reasons your leaving IU? i was recently accepted and i was considering it, its not that high on my list of schools to go to, but it seems nice.
