After you have completed 105 quarter units, you will be allowed no more unit credit from coursework taken at a Community College. The 105 total quarter units include:

all college level credit earned before entering UCLA
all AP credit
credit earned at UCLA
credit earned at another college while attending UCLA, if approved (see Concurrent Enrollment)
You may still receive course credit and satisfy requirements with community college coursework without receiving unit credit."

So my understanding here is that.. assuming I've already completed 105 quarter units, I can take classes to satisfy GE requirements and my GPA won't even factor in these grades since these units are not transferable? So I can pretty much satisfy my GE requirements in community college, right?

You can absolutely take courses at community college both before and after reaching 105 quarter units for GE credit. If the college you plan to attend is in the Los Angeles area, the articulation agreements on the College Academic Counseling website will show you exactly what courses will satisfy each GE requirement.

No classes taken at community colleges ever factor into your UCLA GPA, even if they’re taken before you reach 105 units. However, for graduate and professional school, your GPA will likely be computed using the grades you have earned at all colleges you have attended.

Yeah, all that means is that after 105 units you can’t get any more units from community college. So like if you have 110 units and you take a 5 units GE at community college, it will count for GE but you will still have 110 units.
