Transferring Credits to UNC- Please Help

I'm a junior at UNCW and want to transfer to UNC for Fall 2012. I am on pace to graduate from UNCW next may, but would be willing to spend an extra year in school for a UNC degree. I have 75 credits now and will have 91 after this semester. The maximum credits you can transfer to UNC is 75.

I don't mind losing some credits, but is there a maximum amount of credits to transfer with? Will I be denied for simply having too many credits?

All help is appreciated.

I’m pretty sure there isn’t a limit. I mean, they may not except some of your classes, but you won’t be denied for it. I’m applying in the next month or two (I’m a sophomore). I have 80+ quarter units. Have a look at this link. It shows what credits other students from your school have transferred over to UNC.

Keep in mind, this is simply a list of classes that other students have transferred to UNC. It doesn’t mean your other classes that aren’t on the list aren’t transferable.
