Transferring from Bard College

<p>I'm strongly considering transferring from Bard College after Freshman year. I'm pretty unhappy with the dining, social scene, and the general aura of the place. If you go here you would get what I mean. I'm looking for a school with relatively strong academics, and a strong social scene, in that the people that attend are laid-back/interesting,etc. My SAT's are:
Critical Reading:800

<p>I will have a 4.0 my first semester at Bard. I'm probably leaning towards a school in the north-east, but I'm open to other suggestions. The only problem is I'm attending Bard on a full-tuition scholarship, so transferring will impose some financial hardship. So attending a school with strong aid is a priority.</p>
