transferring from cooper union

I already posted this in the "What are my chances?" forum..I got into Cooper Union for art and I think I'm going there next fall..but I might want to transfer; I never wanted to go there that much. How would first-tier schools look at grades from Cooper? Anybody know about Brown in particular? What would I have to do to increase my chances of being admitted to one of these places, besides securing a 4.0 average? How great ARE my chances?

Please respond to the best of your knowledge..thank you very much!

I don't have specific information re transfer from Cooper Union and how it would be perceived. However, I would NOT focus on getting a 4.0. I would try to break the 3.5 threshhold. And then I would focus on getting to know profs well, to get good recommendations.
