I am a freshman of the class of 2016. I haven't been to school yet.

But i might have to transfer? I am currently 'at' northwestern for Piano and math. I was considering 'transferring' from Weinberg (liberal arts) to McCormick (Engineering). I was also accepted to Madison for piano and the liberal arts school for whatever-and I got a $7500 music scholarship, which is the max amount they can give one person. (I live in MN, so this reduced tuition significantly). However, NU gave WAY more aid then Madison, so much it was cheaper. Now, my mom has a job, which will definitely affect my financial aid and make northwestern impossibly expensive.

So, will I be able to easily transfer, assuming that NU will reduce aid (which it will), and when should I? I know it's lame to transfer, so when's the best time? During the middle of the School year? And also, do you think i could get my music scholarship again? Also, could i get accepted into Madison's engineering school? (I have a 34 act and 3.4 hs gpa, unweighted...loads of AP's...)
