I live in San Diego and want to go to community college for computer science and transfer to a UC or CSU, but for all 3 colleges here (Mesa, San Diego City, Miramar) it says “No course articulated.” on assist.org for basically every computer science course at every CSU or UC. Courses that I assume should be articulated (Data structures in C++, assembly language, advanced C++ programming) are all offered here, but none of them are articulated it says. Is there a chance these courses can be used to meet requirements, but are not formally agreed on? Has anyone had a similar experience with this? I really don’t want to take courses that end up not even counting.

The best thing to do is talk to an advisor at the community college. They can set you up with a 2+2 plan that will transfer to any one of those universities. Good luck!
