so I have an associates degree in business from a community college in the states and wanted to transfer to get a bachelors degree in marketing to then become a creative director. So I was wondering if there was a college preferably near Paris, France (but if it’s anywhere else in either French speaking or English speaking countries in Europe than that’s fine) and has to be either free or super cheap for Americans. So if anyone knows of any such place exists hit me up.
You would need to apply for first year admission at most European universities. They really aren’t set up for transfers the way colleges and universities in the US are. But @MYOS1634 may have some ideas for you.
And I think you need more than a Masters to get a job as a creative director. You need experience.
What’s your French level? Native/heritage? AP?
Why France?
What’s your HS GPA and college GPA? Test scores?
Surprisingly no, the expected requirements are at least a bachelors degree in an associated area of study and seven years experience in the related field.
My “test” scores vary from A’s, B’s, and C’s, but mostly a and b My gpa is on average 3.4 or 3.6. France because I know someone going to college there and I’m currently learning the language and love the culture (obviously I mean who doesn’t)
It also depends on budget. You could try applying to ESSEC BBA but it’s not free and it’s very selective so I don’t know how you’d fare.
Free programs in France would require a strong level in French (equivalent to 2 semesters post AP at a minimum, or several courses in the major, typically 300-&400- level.
