I am currently a student at Central Connecticut State U. My first semester at college I received a 1.5 GPA, and the second one I received a 2.72. I really want to transfer and get to a better school. I am taking a summer class now and just received an A and I plan to get an A on my next summer class (which they informed me factors into your GPA). Say this year I get a a cumulative GPA of around 3.6. Even though my GPA would still be around a 3.0 could I still get into a lot better schools then the one I am in such as Boston University, Bentley, Quinnipiac, Etc. The trend of my GPA's would be increasing drastically over each semester do you think admissions would notice that and like it?

What other colleges do you think I could get into with grades like that my SAT's were 610 math and 480 english. Umass? URI? Bryant?
