Hello, I am a junior this year I just recently transferred schools after my sophomore year. I transferred to an arts school, as I thought of majoring in the arts as one of my options. My other option was to major in medicine. I am currently taking an anatomy class, and I am leaning towards medicine. My previous school was more focused on the science and math categories, I was thinking of trying to transfer back. Is it ok to transfer back to a high school that you were originally at ? Does that look bad to colleges? Will that affect the classes I am given? Will it harm my GPA?
Medical Schools don’t care where you went to HS.
Colleges don’t care if you are pre-med.
What do you want to major in in college? You can major in anythign you want plus take the pre-med classes (Bio, Chem, Org Chem, Physics, Calculus).
So does your arts school have science classes? You don’t need to take anatomy for premed…just need to be strong in the sciences.
But if you need to transfer back, that is okay too.
It may affect the courses you are in…i woudl contact the GC at yoru old school and see what would be available for you to take.
So if you haven’t taken Bio, Chem and Physics and still need to take Physics, and both schools have it, it wouldnt’ matter.
