transferring in, good for premed or not?

First I have some questions about transferring in with AP credits. I plan on transferring after a year, but that will include 10 AP credits. With three 4s, and seven 3s, how many semester hours credit will I receive when transferring those? Also I will take 10-12 semester hour credits at a CC over the summer. I will be attending FSU or USF this year, and plan on transferring into the fall of 2013.

How does UF account your AP credits into semester hours? I heard they give you 3 for each AP, or 6 if you score a 5 on some APs.

Also does having CC classes and AP classes in the beginning hurt your chances for medical school admission? Because I heard they don't like any CC classes, and idk about AP because that wasnt even in college.

How can I go about transferring in one year to UF, and still be on track for med school admissions?

First of all, UF doesn’t take transfers with less than 60 credits. Secondly, priority is given to those transfers who have completed an A.A degree at a CC, so your USF or FSU gpa is going to need to be stellar in order to be considered.

as for taking CC classes as a pre-med student - don’t take any PRE MED REQUIREMENTS at the CC. That’s the main concern for the med school admissions board. So don’t take your chems, bios, physics, and/or maths there.
