Transferring to UF in one year? 60 credit hours

My plan to get into UF after a rejection is to transfer within a year to year and a half from either FSU, UCF, or USF.

If I successfully passed total of 10 APs, possibly 9, how many credit hours would that count towards the college I go to this year? and for UF?

Also what is a reasonable number of "credit hours" can I take during summer? during reg school year?(Avg. is 15, 18 is high or max).

If i work my butt off and maintain a great GPA with mostly A's, will I most likely get in?

Also can u transfer and still do premed at UF?

btw my sat was 2120 etc just didnt have any ECs

Max credits for my CC is 12 for the summer and 15 for any other term.

This may help you in regards to AP Credit: https://catalog.ufl.edu/ugrad/current/advising/info/AP-examination-credit-info.aspx

Of course, this is for UF so you would want to make sure it is the same at whatever school you end up going to but I’m guessing state schools are all the same in awarding AP credit.

Kinda sad Im gonna have to work my butt off again haha. Anyway aslong as I can go to UF next fall I’m good.

And btw @Joe you’re allowed to do over 15 if you get permission by the dean. 15 IS the maximum, but you can easily get permission to do more. I already have a lot of APs, so Ill probably need 50 sem hours now. Therefore I can do 5-10 this summer, 15-17 each semester for the 2012-2013 term at either FSU, USF, or UCF. Then finish it off with 10-12 in the final and last summer.

But do you need the 60 credit hours BEFORE you apply? If so then I can only go during the following spring term, which is basically IA :/?

I don’t believe that you have to have all 60 credit hours done before you apply. I recently applied to UF a while back in February for the fall term of 2012. I have only completed about 41 credits and with my AP classes for this year, it should go up to about 47. I plan on completing my AA this summer. Oh, and I believe that they accept you on the condition that you get certain grades and complete certain courses, if you don’t, then they deny you for not completing their criteria.
